Ungodly, are you going to get legally married in CA to the love of your life?
I do not know. I have no idea. Possibly yes, possibly no. Since we are already Registered Domestic Partners and on record as such with the CA Secretary of State, it occurred to me that the state may declare that all RDPs are now legally married. I have no information at all that this will happen, it is entirely a product of my imagination. There certainly will be great weeping and gnashing of teeth in Jebusland. The decision does not take effect for 30 days, giving the cities and towns time to prepare the necessary changes in forms and procedures. |
