It never fails to amaze me how badly humans can and will treat each other. You would think I would be immune by now but no, I always wonder, "How can they be so cruel and brutal to each other?"

They continued beating the worshipers? Why? One beating wasn't enough I guess. Why would you beat someone AFTER you take them to a hospital. It's just crazy. The hatred required to do such things must be immense.

Maybe they were just showing off how deeply religious they are? Possibly if you display your skills at holy assault and battery you have a better chance of getting laid? You know, religious beatings as a sort of pre-foreplay.

Not that they would have sex with the people they are beating, obviously you would have sex first then condemn the wretched sinner for having sex and proceed to beat them. I'm just guessing.

If there were no abysmally stupid assholes we really would not require religion.
