Rush Limpblob vs Attractive Smart Young Lady

Ms Fluke responded to the bowl of Jello-like commentator in a perfectly civil and professional way when she called Limpblob's comments “outside the bounds of civil discourse.” Well, yes, and that certainly was the goal of the super wealthy large object, Limpblob needs to get his name on the Nightly News to keep refreshing his supply of frustrated authoritarians losing control in a free and open society.
Today Ms Fluke received a conciliatory phone call from he POTUS.
I think this young lady is as fresh as an ocean breeze in August, I like her style, I like the ideas she presents, and I like her calm way of looking stupid in the face and declaring softly that it does not seem very nice.
Is there a Sandra Fluke fan club I can join?

Some day Rush Limpblob will be good fertilizer, although unfit for use growing human food of course, but he could nourish the plants at some golf course so he can still be with the 1%. Until he is burnt or fermented into fertilizer though he does seem much less than useless.

Rush Limbaugh is a tool of the Christian right wing. I've always found him despicable. It doesn't surprise me that he thinks this way about contraception. He feels the same way about abortion and stem cell research. He is against them. Limbaugh is a vulgar, conservative, asshole with a right wing agenda. Talent on loan from God my ass. Enough said.
The Young Turks host, Cenk Uygur, breaks down Limbaugh's attack against Sandra Fluke:
I found it quite interesting and revealing, that Limbaugh had in his possession, a bottle of Viagra. The prescription for the Viagra wasn't even in his name. What was he doing in the Dominican Republic with all that Viagra? It doesn't take a giant leap of thought, to figure out, what he was doing. The Dominican Republic is one of the biggest sex tourism destinations in the world.
Rush Limbaugh is nothing if not a massive hypocrite. He condemned drug users only to turn out to be one himself. He condemns Sandra Fluke for being a slut (which of course she isn't) only to turn out to be a slut or worse. Who in their right mind can believe or trust this man? Not I.

Suppose a morbidly obese comedian who imitates a commentator decides to have a vasectomy. Would the state be forced to pay for his being a slut? Would this be a tacit admission that he is living a promiscuous lifestyle?
And when did it become any business of that obnoxious slimeball of a creature who the young lady in question chooses to bring to her bed?

The Young Turks host, Cenk Uygur, breaks down Limbaugh's attack against Sandra Fluke:
I seldom disagree with Cenk, he is a very skilled presenter and you can see that he has a strong commitment to fair play, unlike some others.
In this video he ripped the LimpBlobster a new one, and boy did he have it coming[actually I did not see the pun right away, but, heh].

Sandra Fluke, to her credit, was cool and articulate in the defense of her gender. She took a risk in refusing Limbaugh's slut-baiting taunts, since conservative critics and politicians could have flooded the media with counter-attacks.
She came away clean by refusing to climb into the pit to mud-wrestle a pig on his own turf (sorry literal-pigs, for turning you into bacon, but mostly for the implied insult). For once, that dirty job was done right, by media outlets, the POTUS, and some of Rush's own advertisers.
I hope this isn't the last time we hear from Sandra Fluke.

He is still a creep.
(source)(RNN) - In a statement on his website Saturday, Rush Limbaugh gave somewhat of an apology for his comments calling Georgetown law student Sandra Fluke a "slut" and a "prostitute."
"For over 20 years, I have illustrated the absurd with absurdity, three hours a day, five days a week. In this instance, I chose the wrong words in my analogy of the situation. I did not mean a personal attack on Ms. Fluke," Limbaugh's apology read.
He quite obviously did intend a personal attack. His claim to the contrary is an obvious falsehood.
Another victory for Ms Fluke.

Follow the money.Apparently the obnoxious gasbag was forced to issue what he called an apology to Ms Fluke. I certainly never expected this unit to admit an error, the economic pressure from lost advertisers must have been intense.
How can you tell when Rush Limpblob is choosing the wrong words? (Reminds me of a lawyer joke.)I chose the wrong words in my analogy of the situation.

I hear that 37 or 40 or some such number of advertisers have stopped sponsoring malicious psychotic rants since this most recent batch of sewage runoff.
If you scroll down you can see all the sponsors that dropped Rush's show.

Update: Oops, I spoke too soon. Looks like a couple of sympathetic sponsors have rushed (pun intended) to the cause. Dittoheads now have a new sleep number, and it's a two-timer.

Rush Limbaugh Ratings Drop In Several Big Markets
The Huffington Post | May 21, 2012
Rush Limbaugh's ratings have dropped sharply in several major markets following the firestorm over his comments about Sandra Fluke, Politico reports.
Limbaugh called Fluke a "slut" and a "prostitute" for her birth control advocacy, sparking condemnation from President Obama on down and causing many advertisers to flee his show. (One major radio CEO recently admitted that the controversy had cost him millions of dollars.)
Yet, a month into the controversy, Limbaugh crowed that he was doing better than ever. "The advertisers who hung in here are going gangbusters, yes," he said, adding, "On the range of all 600 radio stations, our ratings are up anywhere from 10% to 60%, depending on the station."
On Monday, though, Politico's Dylan Byers got an early look at the latest ratings report from Arbitron:
The conservative radio host's ratings fell 27 percent in the key 25-54 demo in New York City, 31 percent in Houston-Galveston, 40 percent in Seattle-Tacoma, and 35 percent in Jacksonville, according to a selection of the March 29-April 25 Arbitron ratings provided by an industry source.
Sources told Byers that it was possible that a bubble has burst: Limbaugh saw a spike in listeners due to the controversy, and now those people have stopped tuning in. Limbaugh's ratings were also up in other markets, such as San Francisco.
One of Limbaugh's biggest antagonists, though, said that it was evidence of a successful campaign:

It looks like Rush Limbaugh's Sandra Fluke comments, have finally caught up with him. Yay! I hope his show gets canceled. It couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

Andrea Mitchell's More Magazine Interview: Rush Limbaugh Is A 'Bully With A Megaphone'
The Huffington Post | May 22, 2012
MSNBC's Andrea Mitchell called Rush Limbaugh "a bully" in a new interview with More magazine.
The piece comes on the heels of a tremendous round of news-making for the MSNBC host. Mitchell grilled Susan G. Komen chief Nancy Brinker after the organization moved to end funding for Planned Parenthood, hosted Foster Friess when he made his controversial comments about contraception, and interviewed Sandra Fluke immediately after her call from President Obama.
Mitchell reflected on those episodes and the debate on women's health issues in the interview, which comes out in the June issue of More.
In it, she recalled the moments leading up to Fluke's appearance on her show. "The vulnerability of this woman who had unwillingly, just by standing up, become part of a national debate where her reputation was being sullied by a bully with a megaphone — that just really touched me," Mitchell told the magazine. Fluke, a Georgetown law student, had come on to speak after Limbaugh called her a "prostitute" and a "slut" for testifying in a contraception hearing.

Andrea Mitchell's observation that Rush Limpdick is a bully is spot on. Way to go Andrea!
