The pro-life fundamentalist Christian movement in the USA has begun branching out and showing how much they love life by suggesting that the government or somebody should start killing gay people.

Naturally any pro-life person is always just a step away from personally murdering a homosexual person, but of course they have no animosity and they definitely do not hate gay people.

Even Republican legislators, obviously Christians, are beginnng to recommend the widespread executions of people who are gay.

Praise Jesus, Christianity is getting back to its roots with lots of blood, gore and religious ceremonial executions.

In an effort to help any Christians planning to start a new career as homo executors we have composed a special prayer.

Dear Jeebus, it is in thy name that we shall kill the homos. May my weapons rip the flesh from dead homo bodies in thy glory, so that any child attending our church understands that we will definitely kill them dead, in thy mercy, if they come out as gay or ask for a Justin Bieber poster. In thy mercy, amen.

I liked that article and it reminded of an article I read yesterday about religious gay bullying. Richard J. Rosendall over at the Huff Post, wrote a great piece that everyone should read. I thought it was excellent. It's rather lengthy, so I won't post it in it's entirety.

Manifesto Against Religious Bullies

First Amendment to the United States Constitution:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

The above text is among America's greatest contributions to the world. It does not contain an asterisk excluding gay people. All people are entitled to exercise their faith or lack of it without being bullied. This right may not be put to a vote. That is the whole point of rights.

America's diversity includes people of all races, creeds, walks of life, genders, and sexual orientations. Mutual interest calls for us to coexist peacefully and respectfully. Religious fanatics are threatening that coexistence by aggressively pushing an agenda hostile toward women, racial and religious minorities, and lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people.

LGBT people are part of this country. We are entitled to equal protection of the law and the pursuit of happiness as our birthright. We will not be bullied. We will make no excuses for politicians who pander to intolerance, or who say, "I support gay equality, but...." Those who treat us as second-class citizens do not deserve our votes, money, or volunteer time.
