A petition online at the political website Change.Org is intended as a fervent request with potential threat of boycott in the hope of persuading US snack food firm Nabisco to create a seven layer rainbow oreo to support gay rights.

That Oreo cookie looks fantastic! I think it's a marvelous idea. I already signed the petition.

But yeah, why not help stamp out Heterocookieism and support gay rights at the same time. I'm all for freedom of choice when it comes to cookies! Posted Image

Got milk?

I've got soymilk [smilie=geesturbed.gif]

Next we need to get a Canadian firm onboard with the program. A company well known to celiacs that creates gluten free cookies that obviously are not imitations of anything. No, no, no, no, yes.

Canadians are pretty cool on homo stuff. Coincidentally the Jesus Industry in Canada has much less political influence too. So, yeah.

GF vegan homo cookies? Who knew?

It's not milk unless it comes from a cow. Preferably ice cold. Posted Image

Wow, their advertising them as so delicious that their addictive as crack cocaine. Who knew vegan cookies could be so good?

The gay Oreo's are cuter though and tastier. :-)

Apparently some Jeebustards heard about this non-existant Oreo cookie and because it did not seem hostile to gay people they naturally flipped.

So, so, so, so stupid!

A Facebook photo showing a rainbow-colored Oreo cookie in support of gay Pride celebrations throughout the month has ignited a firestorm of controversy in the US this week, marking a sharp division between Christian fundamentalists and liberals, and signaling an emerging marketing trend.
The multi-colored, six-layer cookie titled, ‘Proudly support love!' was posted on Facebook this week and has become a viral sensation garnering 259,200 likes, 82,025 shares, and 48,220 comments as of June 28 -- or, what marketers would call, a PR success story.
One hitch: the product isn't actually for sale. Under the ad in fine print, reads the disclaimer, "Made with creme colors that don't exist."
But that hasn't stopped some Facebook commentators from issuing a clarion call to boycott the brand, with far-right Christian fundamentalists weighing in on the debate citing biblical verses and discussing evolution, and Oreo defenders applauding the company for the clever marketing campaign.

To make a Jeebustard freak out simply refer to the existence of gay people without the required homophobic condemnation.

Is that from the movie, Passion of the Christ ? I've never watched that movie. I hear it's brutally graphic.

I think it is from that movie.

I was going to see it but a friend (who knows I am a bit squeamish) warned me against it. I'm glad he did.

Yeah, for some reason the whole movie just turned me off. I doubt I will ever watch it or care. Now my mom watched it and said that it would change my life and I should watch it. Of course she is a crazy old God fearing lady. :)

The film had one too many Mel Gibsons associated with it for me to ever view it. When the Mel Gibson level gets above 0.0 I just say NO.

If it were not polluted with Gibson I still would not have wanted it because it was a movie about Christianity that was not intended to be sarcastic. That's the only way of presenting Jeebus crap that appeals to me.

But if you took away the Mel Gibson and the Jeebus I still would side with Joe Bloe and wish to avoid violence, even if it is reenacted based on a fairy tale.

Violence is best avoided when possible, unless somebody has insulted a religious delusion, then, of course the brutal killing.

I liked the films he made in Australia and I was pleased for him when he was becoming successful in America, but the stories I've heard about him since then have turned me right off.

I once heard the alcoholic, woman-beating, sexist pig viciously malign gay people on a TV talk show. That was enough for me to form a negative opinion of him, but it is his ultra right wing super Catholicism that really puts me off because the crap that comes out of his mouth could lead some moron somewhere to go hurt innocent people. Granted that inciting people to hatred is a traditional form of protected religious speech, I would not deny him his rights, what puzzles me is why some people do not dismiss him as being obviously stark raving mad.

Mr Gibson has earned his position on my second string list of graves I might enjoy pissing on. The ball is in his court now.

So many graves to piss on and so little time. Pat Roberts needs to hurry up...time's a wasting! And I'm not getting any younger. :)

The Christian conservative group which called on JCPenney to fire Ellen DeGeneres because she is gay, has criticized a gay Oreo ad.
One Million Moms, which is closely associated with the American Family Association (AFA), on Friday criticized Kraft Foods, parent company of Nabisco, for posting an image of a rainbow themed Oreo cookie supporting Gay Pride on the brand's Facebook page.
The simple message of support includes a chocolate Oreo cookie filled with six layers of rainbow-colored icing along with the caption, “June 25 | PRIDE.”
The graphic drew more than 52,000 shares and 177,000 likes in 24 hours, sparking an online debate which translates into free adverting for Kraft Foods, which introduced America's best-selling cookie in 1912.
One Million Moms warned Kraft against making the same mistakes as JCPenney and linked the JCPenney's ongoing financial woes to its support for gay rights.
“This loss should tell companies that siding with radical homosexuals has its price. Another example is Ford Motor companies. Obviously, the company's far-Left approach is driving away shoppers and its executives. Whether JCPenney will learn from its mistakes is yet to be seen. But JCP's freefall should serve as a warning to other companies before they decide to cater to homosexuals and their sinful lifestyle choices,” the group wrote at its blog.
The group urged members to contact Kraft, saying “Supporting the homosexual agenda verses [sic] remaining neutral in the cultural war is just bad business” and warned that “If Christians cannot find corporate neutrality with Kraft they will vote with their pocketbook.”
(Related: “Good God, Oreos are gay!” Stephen Colbert exclaims.)

Jesus Decoder Chart
Christian conservative group = organized hate group
One Million Moms = 42,000 bigots for Jesus
radical homosexual = gay man eating an oreo cookie
corporate neutrality = do as we say, or face the wrath of Jeebus
