Some spirit-minded scientists speculate that prayer mysteriously creates far-reaching subatomic particles embedded with hopeful intentions. However, molecular levels of exactly how prayer works will probably remain a deep mystery for a long time. And that’s fine, because if we didn’t have some mystique in our lives, it would probably be pretty boring.

To date, intention has only been detected in macroscopic, highly complex meat brains.

Some speculate that computer scientists may someday create a machine with intentions, but when that day comes, the machine will surely be as complex as a meat brain.

When these "spirit-minded" scientists conjure up some evidence for these subatomic particles and their hopeful intentions I'll start listening.

Also, in order to learn "exactly how prayer works," prayer would have to work. Most paranormal researchers have the decency to be stuck ascertaining whether or not there is something to research. These guys have skipped that step.

Indeed, intelligence and self awareness are clearly consequences of a high number of neural interconnections. You need a complex structure to store and/or process large samples of data, ooops, I mean think meat brain thoughts.

At this time the only naturally arising complex thought thinking mechanisms we have found are all meat based.

I want to find a sub atomic particle intent on depositing funds in my bank account, it is just as likely to exist as anything invented by Mr Some Scientist.
