Every four years I wash this shirt in time for the peak of the election seasion, this time I got it out early, as if it were somehow relevant.

Millions of Americans agree with you.  Present company included.

Amazingly, I found myself agreeing with one of the Rethuglican candidates. It was an attack ad on Donald Trump's very frightening xenophobia.

I've seen Web commentary that Kasich has broached Godwin's law. I don't care; Col. Moe is absolutely right.

A wise nation might choose not to flirt with fascism.

People like flirting with fascism because there is usually a government designated underclass who

can be blamed for all problems. That gives the majority the idea that they have reached a state of

perfection. Everything they say or do is right and if it goes wrong it's the fault of somebody else.

That really does ring true here.  And I can understand people adopting that kind of an attitude because I was ten years old once too.

The line that scares me is -- "Follow me and I will make you great again."  Nothing good ever starts with that line.  It is what Hitler said to the Germans.

I believe it is the height of immorality to let someone else make your decisions for you, it's also a very dumb idea.

It was Reuben Cruz -- Ted Cruz's minister father -- who advocated gathering all the Atheists into concentration camps.  Do you think the evangelistic apple has rolled far from the crazy tree?
