The French sarcastic magazine Charlie Hebdo has published an anniversary cover with an illustration of a blood spattered God running with a Kalishnikov.  Francis the Talking Pope is not pleased.

Religious leaders in France and the Vatican criticised the magazine for the cover cartoon depicting "God" armed with a Kalashnikov.

So is it fair to associate the God of Abraham with a bloody massacre?

Thus Joshua struck all the land, the hill country and the Negev and the lowland and the slopes and all their kings. He left no survivor, but he utterly destroyed all who breathed, just as the LORD, the God of Israel, had commanded. (Joshua 10:40)

Good. Now Sky Monster can commit his own crimes, instead of ordering his servants to kill for him.

They probably think the Kalashnikov is too quick; doesn't give the victim time to contemplate his fate.

When the Vatican had the power to kill people it was always slow and steady in a torture chamber.

You're damn right it is! ;)

The Bible is replete with stories of God's merciless wrath and horrible vengeance upon his children. He's a bad daddy!

If we are talking Bible; in the good old days, the dead had their foreskins harvested. With modern weapons, the kink is missing. We can not have a lack of foreskin harvesting.
