We have received another annual check from SoCalEd.  Before we went solar we were paying a minimum of $1,000 and up to $1,300 per month in winter.  It's because electricity is costly here and mostly because we have multiple pumps running 24/7 in two koi ponds.

The system has now been officially online for 6 years. So we have not paid the expected > $72.000 for electricity, they have paid us a very small amount instead.

Our system paid for itself several years ago, now we are simply saving money for about another twenty years.  If we assume the cost of electricity will remain constant we may save another $200,000.  Of course the cost of electricity will actually go up.

Best ROI ever!

That's really something. I see more solar panels, lots of them on houses and on barns, etc, more and more all of the time.  Our power company is pushing for them too.
