The Attorney General for the state of New York has issued subpoenas to each of the RC Diocese within the state. He's not investigating what color donation envelopes they were using, it is felony crimes he seeks to uncover.

You know which felony crimes, and so does everybody else.  And NY is not the only state investigating the world's largest criminal organization.

After New York’s subpoenas were issued, and first reported by the Associated Press on Thursday, New Jersey quickly followed, announcing a criminal task force focused on investigating sexual abuse by Catholic clergy. New Mexico launched an investigation this week, and Nebraska and Missouri have inquiries underway.

Well finally! Sick bastards.  I'm not getting too giddily excited over the outcome, but it's a start. I wonder what Catholics parents are thinking about these days.  Talk about a crisis of faith, wake up dumb asses.

I wonder how many bishops, archbishops and cardinals will have been arrested worldwide by the end of this year?

We have to remember, that Vatican City is a nation state without extradition.  The high ranking criminals have a refuge.  So do the low ranking criminals, who have to be protected, to keep them from singing.

We will know when things are getting tense.  The call will go out for the laity to engage in prayer and fasting and repentence.

Yes it will be interesting to see how this all plays out. So much to keep up with these days.  I honestly don't see a very satisfactory outcome, at least not what constitutes justice in my mind.  I'd be a hangin' judge dag nabit! not that I think they should be executed, but they deserve life long sentences in a dark pit some place. All of the bastards!

Interesting?  Like a train wreck.  Hard to look away.  Hard to look forward.  Just horror.

Now, now.  We don't torture mad dogs.  It's enough to kill them.

The problem with brutality is that it is bad for the mental health of the brutal person.  Brutality coarsens and degrades the person who does it.  I would leave sadism for gods and those who worship.  We are better than that -- and more moral.

Of course.  So do I.  There's something about looking at a boil, that makes us want to think about popping it.   Truly, there is no infection in the flesh of Humanity, quite like "the Church".  Such a ripe pustule.  Alas, this is one staph infection that's going to be draining for a long time.  It's deep.

This whole thing is so bloody upsetting, outrageous, disgusting, revolting, repulsive, damaging, criminal, & they've gotten away with so damn much, that its impossible to process without thinking of all kinds of repercussions.

Even when the holy rapists get away with it, as they usually do thanks to HRCC, cases like this where their crimes are exposed do great harm to HRCC. All across the US they are being forced to close churches and parochial schools as attendance continues to drop.
