A few years back, I tried the low carb diet.  The only thing I lost was my sense of humor.

 

Apparently, low carb diets do work—if you stick to them. The problem is that your body rebels fiercely.

One of my cyberfriends raves incessantly about the keto diet. But it’s been years now, and he cannot stick to it for more than a few days at a time. He remains as fat as ever.

For me what works, well first off, I'm a night feeder. I eat more at night, if I get up and eat a hearty breakfast it doesn't matter I'll still eat more at night. So I basically just eat light throughout the day so I can have a decent dinner. NO SECOND HELPINGS

 

There are a few schools of thought on this, I have read it doesn't matter when you consume you daily caloric intake as long as you don't eat more than you should.  Again it works for me, I know my body, I have been dieting since I was a teenager and I'm a diet expert, every fatso or ex-fatso is.

 

Hang in there Jonathan, I do know one thing, while losing weight and you do reach a plateau, which I did a few times, I'd just eat strictly no carbs for a few days or just fruit and veggies for a few days and that would help.

 

I haven't seen anybody mention food combining, that is how I mostly eat and it really does work.
