Islam - The religion of peace.

The lawyer for a Christian woman acquitted of blasphemy charges in Pakistan has fled the South Asian country, citing threats to his life following days of protests over the issue.
"In the current scenario, it's not possible for me to live in Pakistan," the lawyer told AFP news agency on Saturday morning before boarding a plane to a Europa country.
Blasphemy is a sensitive subject in Muslim-majority Pakistan, where the country's strict laws prescribe a mandatory death penalty for some forms of the crime.
Increasingly, blasphemy allegations have led to murders and mob lynchings, with at least 74 people killed in such violence since 1990.

Sounds like Europe in the good old days.

Believe nothing you hear and only half what you see.

There were literally thousands of people marching in the streets demanding this woman be killed. Her offense? Not believing the demonstrably false locally dominant religious bullshit.

We are about one election away from similar displays of human nature in this country. I can just see marchers insisting that illegal aliens must be executed, because Jesus.

Time to whip out some Aldous Huxley:

church and state

greed and hate

two baboons

in one supreme gorilla-person

A million years from now when a race of intelligent beings visit this planet they likely will see some evidence that we once existed. Will their scientists consider that we were an intelligent species? I reckon not.

Join our religion of love and peace or burn in hell!

It's always time to whip out Aldous Huxley. I have often thought he was spot on with this gem.

Maybe this world is another planet's Hell.

When my people come to colonize this planet, your names will be on the protected rolls, and you will come to no harm.
