In addition to Pennsylvania, a number of other US states are investigating child molestations by Catholic priests.

The following states have joined in the efforts to protect children from Catholic priests, Maryland, Vermont, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Nebraska, D.C, Kentucky, Missouri and New Mexico.

Since the Pennsylvania grand jury’s bombshell August report of egregious child sex abuse at the hands of Catholic priests, several other allegations of sexual abuse and ignorance on behalf of the Church have come to light.

Parents should be removing their kids, & leaving that mess in droves.

And yet -- there are still so many loyal Catholics.  Worse, they still attend -- and confess their sins -- and contribute.  I don't understand.  I will never understand.

They know that their priests regard themselves as shepherds.  Don't they know what shepherds do with their sheep?

Pure selfishness. If church membership is going to get them into heaven then they're sticking with the church, no matter what...

A point of order.  Is that selfishness?  Or terror?

Good question.

Selfishness if seeking heaven.

Terror if fearing hell.
