Trump and Pence play hero to the persecuted.

I have mixed feelings about this.  It is good to resist religious persecution.  Unless we are all free, nobody is safe.  It's their motives that get me.  Trump doesn't care about the persecuted.  He's playing to his base.  Even when he does the right things; it's for the wrong reasons.

At the same time, when did the Democrats, speak up for the persecuted in China?  They might have, but they were busy pandering to a different base.

By way of example:

Most of the time, the Democrats are better for Gay rights.  It was Bill Clinton who signed DOMA into law.

Does anybody really trust Chuck Schumer?

The joys of being a committed Democrat.  "The party of slightly less evil."  Holy shit.  What an awful campaign slogan.

I imagine that, like other Democrats, Chuck Schumer is up to 4% less evil.  I certainly do not trust him, he is in every sense of the word a politician.
