Liberty Counsel is a Christian legal organization that specializes in promoting and defending anti-gay legislation.

The entire purpose of the group is to incessantly harass and demonize gay people. They defended California Proposition H8 as if their lives depended on it, but unfortunately they were wrong.

These days they are busy objecting to an anti-lynching bill that would protect LGBTQ people from roving gangs of Christians thirsty for blood.

The Constitution itself, guarantees "the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness".  That should render an anti lynching law redundant.  That we need additional anti lynching laws, is telling.  That Gay people could be excluded, is shameful.  That a Christian group could be behind it, is instructive.

This is something to remember, the next time there is Christian clap, about "objective morality".

It's worse.  The pious think that we're the villains.

Pity the Christians.  Everything depends on staying inside their mind cages.  Here we are, holding up the exit signs.  There is a way out.  The pious know and they fear.

Yes.  On the most basic of levels, if a man hates what he sees in the mirror, he will be in torment.  Look at all the homophobic clergy -- and Republican lawyers.  So pathetic.  Such hatred is clearly based in fear and self loathing.  I'm tempted to pity them.  I said tempted.  It's like feeling sorry for a rabid dog.
