My back pains have been helped by Chiropractic.  Still, the truth is the truth.

[ helpful tip:

It appears you told the forum software you were going to insert a link to add that Youtube link.  Youtube is a special case.

For Youtube videos, instead of telling the software you're going to insert a link just paste it directly into the text editor, that way your video should appear and be playable directly in the post. ]

It certainly is true that sometimes chiropractors manipulating a spine produces a good result. Unfortunately it also sometimes results in death or disability due to spinal cord injuries.

I've had the extreme pleasure of dining with Dr Harriet Hall of Science Based Medicine. Also joining us that evening was James Randi.  Dr Hall is also known as the Skepdoc. She is a classic skeptic we know through the James Randi Educational Foundation. Dr Hall has a lot to say about chiropractic and I agree with every word of it ( sample ).  She is one of my very few heroes.

Chiropractic is based on a demonstrably false assumption, it is not scientific in any sense of the word. I prefer to get my medical care from a practitioner of evidence based medical science.
