I like it when the government actually uses a piece of equipment it owns for the job it was intended. The shuttle is a big pick up truck and it was exactly this type of mission that it was made for. I also like the idea of having another shuttle ready to launch, should the first one break down. Another reason the shuttle was created (rescue vehicle) Within a few more years maybe they will realize the enormous benefit of privately run space programs and our tax dollars to fund NASA will shrink while still maitaining a good system for space exploration.

This is very good news! The US Government is completely welcome, indeed encouraged, to spend my money supporting scientific research.

Since science is the natural enemy of religion, every dollar spent on science helps to defeat the Repugnican Agenda.
