NJ Governor signs a 63-page Act to make sure gay marriages are not called marriages.

Interestingly, a marriage can be annulled if it is not sexually ratified, but civil unions don't get that. I wonder what else there is that is serperate but not quite equal. They could have saved 61 pages by just calling it a marriage, or renaming marriage as civil union, but no, they had to go in and edit the laws anywhere marriage is mentioned, and also say that this applies to all the laws they missed as well.

You know how it is, there is no greater agony for a homophobe than contemplating a gay sex act. That is why they all dwell on it so much.

This is a step in the right direction though, what these lawmakers did is an improvement on what has been the case. Plus now there is a precedent which can be refined and brought closer to true equality.
