When professional liars get money and trust http://news.aol.com/topnews/articles/_a/california-pastor-stole-the-whole-church/20070212161209990001?ncid=NWS00010000000001 RIPON, Calif. (Feb. 12) - For nearly a decade, members of Ripon's First Congregational Church bared their souls to Pastor Randall Radic. But clearly it didn't work both ways. There were certain things he wasn't telling them. That became obvious a year ago, when Radic pleaded guilty to betraying his flock and secretly selling the church and its rectory out from under them. He used the money to buy himself a brand-new black BMW and a laptop - exploits he later chronicled in a cheeky, almost gleeful blog about his double life as a sinner. "We didn't know anything until we got a call from the bank that he had bought a BMW," said David Prater, who led the church board during Radic's tenure. "He drove that car right down Main Street." Once again, I make my case that most preachers are actually mean-spirited Atheists trying to take money from a flock of gullible fools. There is no way a person who feared Hell would sell a church and keep the money.Yes, there are bad Christians, and there are bad Atheists. Bad Christians will lie and cheat to push their hateful mythology. Bad Atheists, well, it's a pretty good scam to claim to be a preacher just to steal money. http://www.atheists....et_money_and_tr

I know I am a cold hearted SOB when it comes to these things but I just can't help it. They get what they deserve. I have seen far too many snake oil salesmen, faith healers, head poppers and the like to believe any of it so I say take em for all you can get! I know these people are "Innocent" but c'mon, they are suckers in the first place and if they want to dump $$$ into a plate every Sunday to ease the guilt of all the vile shit they pull the other 6 days let em weep. :snork_lach:

White Coyote,

That is no more cold hearted than saying that you think a burglar should get what they deserve.

I hope he gets twice what he deserves, but it seems he is getting off with time served waiting for trial because he is ratting out his jail cellmate.

Anybody, and I mean anybody, that trusts this slimeball is quite likely to regret it later.
