I watched this video of Professor Steve Jones about "Why creationism is wrong and evolution is right"
It lasts about an hour but was very helpful in understanding evolution. He was very entertaining and even I could understand parts of it.    He had some visuals which could not be seen in the video, but he explained things so well that it really didn't matter.
