WC, the same rule could be applied to Internet forums/domains owned and paid for by atheists, and you and I both know that christians don't respect our right to gather in "peace" and be able to converse amongst ourselves.

For all the havoc these people wreak in the public square, and for all the tax-exemptions and societal privileges they get, I'd think they could handle a few pieces of paper stashed in the pews of their open to the public church building, which they don't pay taxes on. Like I said earlier, no one in that church is probably going to give a second thought to the pamphlets, they'll just be irritated for a few minutes and move on. I've had religious pamphlets stuffed under my door, thrust into my hands, and trashing up my mailbox all the time. When they stop shoving their trash into my private life without caring about my right to "peace" from their stupidity, I'll shed a tear for their 2-second discomfort from having to crumple up a piece of paper and toss it.

I know this is an eye for an eye mentality I'm espousing here, and if TopHat had taken cans of spray paint to the walls, or set fire to the place, that would be a whole different story. I just really can't bring myself to care about a few pamphlets or their poor widdle feelings. They didn't seem to care about my roommate's when I had to escort her past their minions stationed outside the PP clinic screaming nasty insults in her face 3 years ago.

What TopHat did was harmless, if ineffective. Maybe next time he should set up protests outside their doors. I'm in.

I see your point and agree with much of what you said. My point is that by doing things such as this WE are collectively lowering ourselves to their level. Of course what TopHat did isn't going to harm anyone and I certainly don't give a shit if these people are uncomfortable for a brief time. My point is that if some asshole comes up to me in the street and starts vomiting out his religion of hate I see no reason to not just slap the taste out of his mouth. But if they want to keep their superstitious nonsense under their roof then I will respect their right to do so.

Consider this. We do not allow non-Indian people into my Hoykya. The reason is quite simple. The Hoykya is founded on native beliefs, native morals and native protocol and order. To allow non-indian peoples in would upset a very specific and orderly way of discussing native problems and issues. We, because of our heritage, have a specific interest. Non-indian people do not. I would be very upset, actually furious, if I found any literature of a negative nature to my Hoykya, inside our circle. We do not have any specific belief, on the contrary, we include any and all faiths as long as the blood is there, and the protocol is followed. I would be very offended and don't believe anyone on this forum wouldn't agree with me. So I just feel I should extend the same respect to them. Basically it's "Don't crap in my nest, and I won't crap in yours." It's as simple as that.

I waver back and forth on this one.  As I said in a previous post I didn't see the video or fliers.  I guess a lot of movements, changes for the better etc start with somebody being brave enough to do something and often it is an outrageous thing. I am hoping that even one person who read or saw his video perhaps got to thinking a little bit. I have seen his other videos and I think the thoughts behind them are very good. I don't know whether his parents were upset by the ideas of the video or just the crudeness..if indeed they were crude.  Maybe TopHat when you get your privileges back again you could make a really thoughtful and polished video explaining your views in a respectable and honest manner.  I repeat what I said earlier...we depend on the youth.

I completely understand where everyone is coming from. I am just trying to find someone who can tell everyone who watches my channel I won't be able to upload for 3 months. That's part of my grounding, one more week off my home computer and no uploading videos to youtube for three months.

I think the video uploading is to much and just censorship, but I have to respect my parents wishes and as you said it's best not to get to rowdy.

I have been spending time as some have said to work on more projects.

As a response to what WC said about not going in the church... I had to promise my dad I wouldn't go in the church and do that again, so I'm going to do the things that my sister told me. She told me to put them on polls around a church, and maybe I'll hand them out next time.

Seeing as how you make a convincing argument about entering the church( although I disagree with it. I feel that while legally I did not break any laws it is still fine, and I am writing a small booklet on my thoughts of whether or not it was morally right.)
putting flyers on polls and such will still be fine. Since none are you are comfortable with uploaading to my channel, which is fine, I can ask another guy I know to do it for me.

See you in a week,

TopHat

Have you considered simply starting a new account and "back-dooring" your videos through it?

The whole point of this for me was:

1. Get the signed DVD of "The God Who Wasn't There"
2. Promote awareness of the dangers of religion.
3. Spread thinking. Even if they think I'm wrong, they have still begun to access their mind.

Danger is as danger is. I am willing to be thrown out if my parents disagree with my beliefs, and I have accepted consequences and dangers. Am I scared of it? Of course, a teenager being thrown to the world just doesn't look pretty but I'm willing to take risks in my life. Twice in the past week have I almost been kicked out. I just accept what it is.

Always weigh the balance of what it is worth, for what you will gain my young friend. You have an entire lifetime to get your message across. Will that message be any clearer or more powerful if you were to lose your present home? What purpose will that serve? Thinking about the consequences of your actions and living with those consequences are two entirely different things. I know you probably think I am just an old fuddy-duddy but I have lived too many lifetimes and walked too many roads to not have learned something. The best advice from a very tired and broken warrior is to choose your battles very carefully.
